Create a Scheduled Report

If a client's data is deleted in ExtremeCloud IQ, all configured, cached, Live, and Historical data related to that client is also deleted from ExtremeLocation Essentials.

If Reset VIQ is selected in ExtremeCloud IQ, all configured data for locations, devices, and clients is cleared from ExtremeLocation Essentials. In addition, all cached, Live, and Historical data related to that VIQ is cleared from ExtremeLocation Essentials.

To create a scheduled report:

  1. Select the icon from the main menu to view the Dashboards screen.
    The dashboard marked as default automatically loads.

  2. Select the button from tool bar.
    The Scheduled Reports screen displays.

  3. Select the located to the top right of the Scheduled Reports screen.

    The Create Schedule Report window displays.

  4. Provide the following information to create a new scheduled report:
    Field Description
    Schedule Name Provide a meaningful name for this scheduled report.
    Dashboard From the drop down list, select the dashboard to create this report from.
    Location From the drop down list, select the location for which this report is to be generated. To select all the locations, select All from the drop down list.
    Recurrence Format

    Select the report generation frequency from one of:

    • Daily - The report is generated once a day.
    • Weekly - The report is generated once a week.
    • Monthly - The report is generated once a month.
    Export Format Export to PDF is the only format currently supported for scheduled reports.
    Email To Provide up to 3 distinct email addresses to send this scheduled report to when it is generated.
  5. Select Create to create this scheduled report.
    At any point, select Cancel to exit without creating a scheduled report.
  6. Select the OK button to exit Scheduled Reports screen.
