Generate the Activation License

After you install Tunnel Concentrator, use this procedure to generate and install the activation package on Tunnel Concentrator to activate the application instance.

Note

The activation file is signed to the Serial Number of the Tunnel Concentrator instance, which is read from the instance. The activation file is provided as part of the voucher redemption workflow.
Installing the activation package also installs Extreme device certificates that allow secure communication with the management entity.

Obtain the Locking ID of the Tunnel Concentrator instance:
1. Log in to the Tunnel Concentrator instance
2. Under Upload Activation License, copy the Serial Number (Locking ID) value.
Obtain the activation file:
1. Log in to the Extreme Networks Support Portal .
2. Go to Assets > Licenses Home and select the Tunnel Concentrator Voucher ID line item from the list.
3. On the Voucher Details page, select Generate Activation Key.
4. Provide the serial number for the Tunnel Concentrator activation.
5. Select the box to accept Terms and Conditions and click Submit to generate the activation file.
6. Download the activation file.
Install the activation file on Tunnel Concentrator:
1. If you signed out of Tunnel Concentrator, sign back in.
2. Upload the license file to the Upload Activation License pane of Tunnel Concentrator.
