Configure IoT Profile Settings

Before you begin, configure a network policy. See Add a Network Policy.

Use this task to configure an AP5010/AP5010U/ AP5020 to function as a Backbone Border Router in a Thread network.

Go to Configure > Common Objects > Policy > IoT Profiles
Select an existing profile, and then select , or select .
Configure the settings as described in Thread Profile Settings (Single IoT Application) or Thread Profile Settings (Multiple IoT Applications).
Select Save.
Optional: Select Customize to Configure the Thread Commissioner.

Proceed to Configure Wireless Interfaces for an AP Template to enable the Thread IoT0 radio interface of the AP.

You can override the AP Template IoT0 radio interface settings by configuring the settings under Manage > Devices > Configure > Interface Settings > Wireless Interfaces > IoT0.
