Editing the Unregistered Policy on ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine

Edit the default ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine Unregistered policy to work with ExtremeCloud IQ Controller. The Unregistered role on ExtremeCloud IQ Controller is specifically Unregistered role for <Network Name>, where <Network Name> is the Network Name configured in the WLAN on the ExtremeCloud IQ Controller.
  1. In ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine, edit the Policy mapping to specify Unregistered role for <NETWORK NAME>. In this example, <NETWORK NAME> is Guest.

  2. From ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine, go to Access Control > Configuration > Profiles > Policy Mappings.
  3. Select Switch to Advanced.
  4. Select the Unregistered Policy, then Edit.

    Note

    It is a best practice to specify Unregistered role for <NETWORK NAME> in both the Policy Role field and the Filter field. Depending on your configuration, either field can be referenced.
  5. Enforce the changes.
    From Engine Groups, right-click the IP address of ExtremeCloud IQ Controller. Then, select Enforce.
