Setting Static Routes
OneController has at least three interfaces (Admin, esa0, esa1). All of them can be in use. If you want to force all routable traffic out one specific port, you can define static routes for this. Static routes are defined by a triple of the target/destination address, netmask, and gateway address.
To set up a static route:
-
On the left navigation bar, click System Configuration, and
then, on the menu bar, click Maintenance.
The Maintenance System screen
appears (see the following figure).Maintenance—System Screen
-
Click Routes.
The Routes screen appears (see
the following figure).Maintenance—Routes Screen
-
Type information for the static route in the following boxes:
Option Description Destination Address Target/destination address Netmask Netmask Gateway Address for Destination Gateway address of router to use (where each controller interface has its own router to use) - Leave Override Controller's Dynamic Routes unselected.
- Click Apply. The static address appears in the lower table.
