Removing an SFP Module

Disconnect the optical cable from the SFP
module.
- Unlatch the SFP module in one of the following ways:

On an SFP module similar to Module A in
Optical SFP Module Types and Connectors, press
and hold the black plastic tab at the bottom of the connector.

On an SFP module similar to Module B,
Module C, or Module D in Optical SFP Module Types and Connectors, rotate the front handle down.
- Pull the SFP module out of the port on the switch.
