Configure Fabric Attach

Before you begin, physically connect the device to a Fabric Connect-enabled switch. To perform the following task, you require the device VLAN ID and I-SID number.

Use this task to configure a Fabric Attach for a device connected to an existing Fabric Connect network.

  1. Go to Configure > Network Policies.
  2. Locate the network policy, and select the Device Template to modify.
  3. Scroll down to the Wired Interfaces section.
  4. Select Add next to the Fabric Attach field.
    Alternately, select an existing profile from the menu. To edit the selected profile, select Edit. See Configure a Fabric Attach Profile
  5. Type a Name for the new profile.
  6. Optional: Type a description for the new profile.
  7. Select to add a VLAN.
  8. Type the associated VLAN ID for the device.
  9. Select the I-SID# for the device from the drop down.
  10. Select Save.
