Showing Bridge Port Extender Information
Use the following show commands to display information about the VPEX
setup.
- To show the status of VPEX mode, and if applicable, switch port to bridge
port extender (BPE) slot assignments, use the following command:
show vpex
- To show status information about the BPE attached to the specified
cascade ports, use the following command:
show vpex
ports {ports_list}
- To show BPE statistics control plane information on an individual
per-cascade-port basis, use the following command:
show vpex
ports {port_list} {statistics} {detail}
- To show BPE Edge Control Protocol (ECP) counter information, use the
following command:
show vpex
ports {port_list} ecp
statistics
- To show attached BPE's cascade port, slot assignment number, and MAC
addresses, use the following command:
show vpex
bpe
- To show power supply, temperature, and fan status for BPEs, use the
following command:
show vpex
bpe {slot
slot_num} {environment}
- To show general BPE control plane statistics, use the following
command:
show vpex
bpe {slot
slot_num} {statistics} {detail}
- To show CPU utilization information for BPEs, use the command:
show vpex
bpe {slot
slot_num} cpu-utilization
- To show detailed image version information for BPEs, use the command:
show vpex
bpe { slot
slot_num} version
detail
- To show a BPE's name, use the following command:
show slot {slot {detail} | detail }
- To show information about the Port Extension TLV, use the command:
show lldp {port [all | port_list]} neighbors {detailed}
- To show status, interconnection
details of attached BPEs, and ring details (Is ring complete, severed, or BPEs are missing
because of rebooting a slot. It also shows you the resulting cascades when the ring is severed),
use the command:
show vpex
topology { port
port_num} {summary | detail}
