We recommend that you keep the loop protection warning messages enabled.
If you have considerable knowledge and experience with EAPS,
you might find the EAPS loop protection warning messages unnecessary.

To enable the EAPS function for the
entire switch, use the following command:
enable eaps

To disable the EAPS function for the
entire switch, use the following command:
disable eaps
If you enter the command to
disable EAPS, the default switch configuration displays the following warning message and
prompts you to confirm the
command:
WARNING: Disabling EAPS on the switch could cause a loop in the network! Are you sure you want to disable EAPS? (y/n)

When prompted, do one of the following:

Enter y to disable EAPS for the
entire switch.

Enter n or press [Return] to cancel the command.
