Bridge Port Extender General Limitations

Cascading port extenders is not supported, which is where a brige port extender (BPE) is not directly connected to the controlling bridge (CB), but rather is connected to a second tier BPE that is connected to the CB.
Certain ExtremeXOS features are not supported or have limitations. For information, see ExtremeXOS Feature Compatibility with V400 Port Extenders.
A maximum of 24 attached BPEs is supported.
Stacking cannot be enabled with VPEX enabled.
IDM should not be enabled on cascade ports.
