Overview
The
SLX-OS supports interoperability between the
SLX-OS CLI and the SLXVM Linux shell.
As an
SLX-OS user with admin permissions, you can perform the following tasks:
- Running permitted Linux commands and scripts from the
SLX-OS CLI
- Accessing the SLXVM Linux shell, and:
- Running permitted Linux commands and scripts. However, if you have access to the root password, you can then escalate your permissions, by using the
su root Linux command.
- Running
SLX-OS configuration and show commands.
- Running scripts that contain multiple
SLX-OS commands.
