ssh server cipher

Syntax

ssh server cipher string
no ssh server cipher

Parameters

string
The string name of the cipher. Refer to the device for the available options.

Global configuration mode

Usage Guidelines

Use the no ssh server cipher command remove the cipher list from the ssh client.

Examples

Sets the SSH server's cipher list. 

device# configure terminal
device(config)# ssh server cipher aes256-ctr
