You can use the top command to save time when you want to add or remove a top-level configuration while staying at the same command level.
device# configure terminal device(config)# interface ethernet 1/5 device(conf-if-eth-1/5)# top ip access-list extended acl_01 2018/06/03-07:44:41, [SSMD-1400], 30282, DCE, INFO, SLX, IPv4 access list acl_01 is created.
