tpvm config ntp

Configures the Network Time Protocol (NTP) for a Third-Party VM (TPVM) and now gets/display IPv6 configurations with IPv4 configurations.

Syntax

tpvm config ntp add server {ipv4-address | fqdn }
tpvm config ntp default
tpvm config ntp remove server {ipv4-address | fqdn }

Parameters

add
Adds NTP configuration.
default
Resets NTP configuration to the default.
remove
Removes NTP configuration.
server {ipv4-address | fqdn}
Identifies the NTP server by IPv4 address or fully qualified Domain Name.

Modes

Privileged EXEC mode

Usage Guidelines

There is not a no form of this command.

There is no limit to the number of NTP servers that you can configure.

Examples

This example adds a server to the list of NTP servers in the /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf file in TPVM.

device# tpvm config ntp add server time.google.com

This example removes a server from the list of NTP servers in the /etc/systemd/timesyncd.conf file in TPVM.

device# tpvm config ntp remove server time.google.com

This example resets NTP configuration in TPVM to the default.

device# tpvm config ntp default
