bmc lan netmask

Configure a netmask for the BMC's ethernet interface when the ipsrc value is set as static.

Syntax

bmc lan netmask <netmask>

Command Default

There is no default netmask configuration for the IP address configuration for the BMC's ethernet interface.

Parameters

netmask <netmask>: Configures BMC's ethernet interface's netmask configuration.

Usage Guidelines

It might take about 10 seconds to set the IP address and other configurations to the BMC's ethernet interface. This is a known behavior. The CLI will not return to the prompt until the command has completed execution.

If the same netmask address is set, then it may take 30 seconds to complete this configuration activity.
