bmc lan gateway

Configure a default gateway for the BMC's ethernet interface when the ipsrc value is set as static.

Syntax

bmc lan gateway <ip-address>

Command Default

There is no default gateway configuration for the IP address configuration for the BMC's ethernet interface.

Parameters

gateway <ip-address>: Configures BMC's ethernet interface's gateway IP configuration.

Usage Guidelines

It might take about 10 seconds to set the IP address and other configurations to the BMC's ethernet interface. This is a known behavior. The CLI will not return to the prompt until the command has completed execution.

If the same gateway address is set, then it may take 30 seconds to complete this configuration activity.

The following example configures the gateway for BMC's ethernet interface's IP address configuration.
