Syntax

rule-name rule-name-string

no rule-name rule-name-string

rule-name-string: Enables adding a meaningful, human readable description to a route map as its name. Maximum length 127 characters.

The no format of this command removes the assigned descriptive name from this route map.

Route Map Configuration mode

The following example enables the adding of a description to route map configuration rule.

SLX (config)# route-map rmap1 permit 10
SLX (config-route-map-rmap1/permit/10)# rule-name permit-rule
