Before you begin
You must have existing A3 RADIUS server services.
About this task
RADIUS servers offer two types of services:
- Authentication for user credentials (usually on port 1812)
- Accounting (logging) (usually on port 1813)
Security on RADIUS servers is handled with simple passwords. One is configured on the
server and the other on each of the clients.
Use the following steps to configure an A3 server:
Procedure

Select the plus sign.

Enter a name for the server.

Enter an optional description.

Enter the
IP/Hostname of the server.

Accept the defaults or enter specific Server Type
ports.

Enter an optional password.

Select Save Extreme Networks
