Create a user profile that will use these VLAN settings.
Although you can manage VLANs from Common Objects, it is recommended that you configure them inside a network policy workflow.
Use these steps to configure VLAN settings:
Typically, the default VLAN is 1. If you are assigning a VLAN group to this profile, select an existing group from the drop-down list, or select the plus sign to create a new VLAN group. For more information about adding a new VLAN Group, see Add a VLAN Group.
For easier tracking, you might want to add the locations and device models using this VLAN classification rule (for example, VLAN-AP230-Sunnyvale).
Note
When selecting a location, drill down to the level where the devices are located. For example, if the devices are located on the floor of a building, select that specific floor.Complete the user profile configuration.
