On ExtremeSwitching series switches, if a switch runs outside the expected range, the
switch logs an error message, generates a trap, and one of the following actions occurs:
On a SummitStack slots, the reset/none option from configure sys-recovery-level [all | none]
command determines the action that
occurs.
On ExtremeSwitching X430-8p
switches, the device is shut down regardless of the recovery level, and after reboot you
are prompted whether or not to boot the switch.
For all switches, other than the ExtremeSwitching X430-8p, only a warning is logged and the switch continues to run
with the system state as "overheat." If the temperature increases further into overheat
condition, after the operating temperature exceed a further higher temperature, the
hardware resets the switch.
