Configure DHCP Subnet
Use this procedure to configure the DHCP Server Subnet tab in EDM.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, select .
- Select the Subnet tab.
- In the Subnet IP field, enter the subnet network address.
- In the Subnet Mask field, enter the mask.
- In the Pool Range Start field, enter the IPv4 address that marks the start of the address range.
- In the Pool Range End field, enter the IPv4 address that marks the end of the address range.
- In the Lease Duration field, enter the expiration timer, in seconds, for this subnet.
- In the TFTP Server IP field, enter the IPv4 address of the TFTP server that you want to assign to the subnet.
- In the TFTP Server Name field, enter the server name of the TFTP server that you want to assign to the subnet.
- In the TFTP Bootfile Name field, enter the filename of the boot image that you want to assign to clients in the subnet.
- Select Insert.
- Repeat this procedure if you want to configure another subnet.
Subnet Field Descriptions
Use the data in the following table to configure the Subnet tab for DHCP Server.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Subnet IP | Assigns the network address of the DHCP subnet. |
Subnet Mask | Assigns the subnet mask for the DHCP subnet. |
Pool Range Start | Assigns the starting address in the IP address range. |
Pool Range End | Assigns the ending IP address in the address range. This address must be higher than the starting address. |
Lease Duration | Assigns the lease expiration timer in seconds. |
TFTP Server IP | Specify the IP address of the TFTP server that the subnet will use. |
TFTP Server Name | Specify the server name of the TFTP server that the subnet will use. |
TFTP Bootfile Name | Specify the file name of the TFTP boot image that the subnet will use |
