Complete the following tasks to configure a hosted DHCP Server within your network. With this configuration, the switch hosts the DHCP server.

Configure DHCP Server Global Parameters

Configure global DHCP settings for the DHCP Server.

Configure DHCP Subnet

Create DHCP subnets and configure per-subnet settings, including an IP address pool.

Configure Static Hosts

Optional. Complete this procedure only if you want to reserve any DHCP configurations such as a specific IP address for a static host.

Enable DHCP Server

Once the server is configured, enable the DHCP server.

For High Availability, repeat the configuration process on the peer switch
