Complete the following tasks to configure a hosted DHCP Server within your network. With this configuration, the switch hosts the DHCP server.
Before You Begin
You must have a management CLIP IP interface configured already.
Review DHCP Server Configuration Considerations and plan how you will configure DHCP Server.

| 1 | Configure global DHCP settings for the DHCP Server. | |
| 2 | Create DHCP subnets and configure per-subnet settings, including an IP address pool. | |
| 3 | Optional. Complete this procedure only if you want to reserve any DHCP configurations such as a specific IP address for a static host. | |
| 4 | Once the server is configured, enable the DHCP server. | |
| 5 | For High Availability, repeat the configuration process on the peer switch |
