Configure Subnet DNS
Use this procedure to configure the Subnet DNS tab in EDM for a
DHCP subnet.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, select .
- Select the Subnet tab.
- Select the applicable subnet and select Extra.
- Select the Subnet DNS tab.
- In the Subnet IP field, enter the subnet network address.
- In the Subnet Mask field, enter the subnet mask.
- In the IP field, enter the IPv4 address of the DNS server.
- Select Insert.
- Repeat these steps to add additional DNS servers.
Subnet DNS Field Descriptions
Use the data in the following table to configure the Subnet DNS tab for a DHCP subnet.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Subnet IP | Specifies the network address of the DHCP subnet. |
Subnet Mask | Specifies the subnet mask of the DHCP subnet. |
IP | Specifies the IPv4 address for the DNS server that you want to assign to this subnet. You can assign up to eight DNS servers to a DHCP subnet. |
