Configure Subnet DNS

Use this procedure to configure the Subnet DNS tab in EDM for a DHCP subnet.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, select Configuration > IP > Subnet.
  2. Select the Subnet tab.
  3. Select the applicable subnet and select Extra.
  4. Select the Subnet DNS tab.
  5. In the Subnet IP field, enter the subnet network address.
  6. In the Subnet Mask field, enter the subnet mask.
  7. In the IP field, enter the IPv4 address of the DNS server.
  8. Select Insert.
  9. Repeat these steps to add additional DNS servers.

Subnet DNS Field Descriptions

Use the data in the following table to configure the Subnet DNS tab for a DHCP subnet.

Name Description
Subnet IP Specifies the network address of the DHCP subnet.
Subnet Mask Specifies the subnet mask of the DHCP subnet.
IP Specifies the IPv4 address for the DNS server that you want to assign to this subnet. You can assign up to eight DNS servers to a DHCP subnet.
