Viewing RIP status
View RIP status.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Click RIP.
- Click the Status tab.
Status field description
The following table defines parameters for the RIP Status tab.

Address |
Specifies the IP address of the router interface. |

RcvBadPackets |
Specifies the number of RIP response packets received by the RIP process which were subsequently discarded; for example, version 0 packet, or an unknown command type. |

RcvBadRoutes |
Specifies the number of routes, in valid RIP packets, that are ignored; for example, unknown address family, or invalid metric. |
|
SentUpdates |
Specifies the number of triggered RIP updates sent on this interface, that do not include full updates sent containing new information. |
