Configure Subnet Custom Option Data

Use this procedure to configure the Subnet DHCP Custom Option Data tab in EDM for a DHCP subnet.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, select Configuration > IP > Subnet.
  2. Select the Subnet tab.
  3. Select the applicable subnet and select Extra.
  4. Select the Subnet Custom Option Data tab.
  5. In the Subnet IP field, enter the subnet network address.
  6. In the Subnet Mask field, enter the subnet mask.
  7. In the ID field, enter the DHCP code for the Custom Option.
  8. In the Value field, enter the data value that you want to assign to the Custom Option for this subnet.
  9. Select Insert
  10. Repeat these steps if you want to assign data values for additional Custom Options.

Subnet Custom Option Data Field Descriptions

Use the data in the following table to configure the Subnet Custom Option Data tab for a DHCP subnet.

Table 1. Subnet Custom Options Data
Name Description
Subnet IP Specifies the network address of the subnet.
Subnet Mask Specifies the subnet mask of the DHCP subnet.
ID Specifies the DHCP code that identifies the Custom Option. The code must be an integer in the range from 224 to 254.
Value Assigns a data value to this Custom Option for use within this subnet. The value must use the data type that you set in the Custom Option definition.
