Configure a site with Country set to United States or Canada, and make the following site-level configuration changes.
To configure the following settings, go to Configure > Sites > Advanced.
AFC Scheduled Update
Set the daily update time for AFC spectrum updates, during which ExtremeCloud IQ Controller Management requests updates for all APs with 6 GHz radios configured to operate in SP power mode and have geo location available.
FTM (11mc) AP-to-AP Ranging
Enable AP-to-AP ranging to automatically enable 11mc support on the primary BSSID of all APs associated to the site.
Note
AP-to-AP ranging may interfere with older clients that are not 11mc compatible. In this case, disable AP-to-AP ranging, but understand when this ranging is disabled, Indoor AFC is not supported.
