If a non-anchor AP reports that geo location is unavailable, refer to the configuration requirements under Understanding Geo Location Coordinates.
If an anchor AP reports that geo location is unavailable, refer to the following troubleshooting measures:
Perform a GPS signal survey to find better placement for the AP.
GPS signal penetration into a building depends on the type of building. It is possible that some buildings shield the GPS signal and the GPS antenna, in this case the anchor AP5050 must be located outside of the building.
