change-passwd (user and privi exec modes)

Changes the password of a logged user. When this command is executed without any parameters, the password can be changed interactively.

Note

This command and its syntax is common to both the User Executable and Privilege Executable configuration modes.

Supported in the following platforms:

Access Points — AP7502, AP7522, AP7532, AP7562, AP7602, AP7612, AP7622, AP7632, AP7662, AP8163, AP8432, AP8533
Wireless Controller — RFS4010
Service Platforms — NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600, VX9000

Syntax

change-passwd {<OLD-PASSWORD>} <NEW-PASSWORD>

Parameters

change passwd {<OLD-PASSWORD>} <NEW-PASSWORD>


<OLD-PASSWORD>	Optional. Specify the existing password. Note: Password must be from 1 - 64 characters.
<NEW-PASSWORD>	Specify the new password. Note: The password can also be changed interactively. To do so, press [Enter] after the command.
