Configure the SSH Connection Port

Procedure

  1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

  2. Configure the SSH connection port:

    ssh port <22,1024..49151>

Variable Definitions

The following table defines parameters for the ssh port command.

Variable Value
<22,1024–49151>

Specifies the TCP port number. The default is 22.

Important:

You cannot configure TCP port 6000 as the SSH connection port.
