Summit X460G2 (1G Variants) using VIM Ports Stack Configuration
Guidelines
Before deploying a new stack with Summit X460G2 (1G Variant) switches,
consider the following guidelines:
- X460G2 1G variants support SummitStack-V stacking using VIM 10G ports (VIM-2T and VIM-2X).
- UTP Cables will be used when VIM-2T ports are used as Stacking ports.
- You can mix Summit X460-G2 with X450-G2, X440, X460, X480, X670, and X770 switches in a
stack. We recommend that you do not mix these switch types if the desired routing table exceeds
the supported limit.
- X460G2 10G variants switches still support SummitStack-V stacking on front panel 10G SFP+
ports
- Support is available from ExtremeXOS 16.1.
