You cannot create a default route to a virtual or physical interface.

prefix-length (0.0.0.0/0) followed by a valid next hop IP address.
device(config)# ip route 0.0.0.0/0 10.24.4.1
This example configures a default route that is
a null route.

device(config)# ip route 0.0.0.0/0 null 0
