If you need to change the virtual IST PeerIp or VlanId, use this procedure to delete the vIST
first.
Note

You must disable IS-IS globally before deleting a vIST, and then re-enable it
after creating a new vIST.

You do not have to set the SMLT peer system ID or the virtual B-MAC to 0
before you change the virtual IST peer IP address or VLAN ID number.
Procedure
- Disable IS-IS globally.

In the navigation pane,
expand the following folders: .

Select the Globals
tab.

In the AdminState field, select off.

Select Apply.
- Delete the
vIST.
- In the navigation pane, expand the following folders: .

Select the Virtual
IST tab.

Select Apply.
- Create a
vIST:

In the navigation pane, expand the following folders: .

Select the Virtual IST tab.
- In the PeerIp field,
enter the peer IP address.
- In the VlanId field,
enter a VLAN ID.

Select Apply.
- Enable IS-IS globally.

In the navigation pane,
expand the following folders: .

Select the Globals
tab.

In the AdminState field, select on.

Select Apply.
