DM.InitIPMLSrvrFail

Description

The IPML subsystem was unable to initialize the IPML TCP server connection for the specified service. This situation is most likely caused by a problem internal to either DM itself or the IPML library, and is unlikely to have been caused by the user. There may be a lack of IPML resources sufficient to set up the server connection, or DM may have passed corrupt information. Regardless of the cause, DM will not operate properly and will likely terminate itself; and because DM is integral to the operation of the system, it is likely that the system will automatically reboot itself.

Remedy

Note the information provided in the log message (i.e. callback address and TCP port number) as indications of the data supplied by DM to IPML. Because of the severity of this problem and the likelihood that much of the system may not be operational, capturing all messages appearing on the console is important in determining what has gone wrong. If it's possible to login then the information from "show tech" and "show memory" will be helpful.
