This situation occurs when WRED parameters are not configured on the underlying Hardware. SDK API calls returns this error when WRED Discard values are not programmed on Hardware.
Unconfigure WRED. Repeat WRED configuration steps. Reboot the switch. If problem persists after reboot, collect data from 'show tech' command and contact technical support with suitable information.
