ISIS.Restart.MaxT1ExpExcd

Description

During a graceful restart the specified interface sent the maximum amount of hello packets with the RR bit set without receiving an RA bit from its neighbor. The switch will now send "normal" hellos without the RR bit set for the rest of the restart interval. As a result, the restarting switch may not completely repopulate its LSP database during the restart interval. Ultimately the LSP database will be repaired, but it will take longer than would otherwise and may trigger temporary routing table changes in its peers.

Remedy

This is a normal occurrence if a neighboring switch is not enabled for graceful restart helper support, or if the neighbor does not support graceful restart helper mode at all. If the neighbor supports graceful restart helper mode but is not enabled, enable it.
