An IGMP query has been received whose version is different from the configured version; but the query is not dropped. Each query is examined and compared to the configured version; but the event is made to occur only once per minute. Whether the event gets logged depends on the log configuration. If the configured version is IGMPv3 but a lower version of query is received, IGMPv3 hosts gracefully continue to operate but in a less-than-optimal manner using lower version compatibility mode.
Configure IGMPv3 in all switches to utilize IGMPv3 protocol's full capability. If any of the switches doesn't support IGMPv3, then configure same lower IGMP version in all switches. To disable logging of the event, use the command: configure log filter "DefaultFilter" add exclude events "IPMC.RxIGMPQueryCfgMisMatch"
