CFM.RxPktCflct

Description

This event gets logged when a CFM PDU gets processed by the CPU, but not active configuration is present.

Remedy

This is not a faulty condition, but it indicates that no valid configuration is present, and a CFM PDU for the specific vpif has come to the CPU. This can happen for example with broadcast/multicast packets as a copy will be send to the CPU. Unicast CFM PDUs (not send to the switch MAC address) should not end up at the CPU, if this happens an ACL might not be programmed correctly. This is not true in a i386 environment, as all packets end up at the CPU.
