VPEX.AutoConfig.TermSelf

Description

VPEX Auto-Configuration has disabled itself after detecting conditions beyond its abilities to handle reliably.

Remedy

This event may occur after moving cables or using CLI commands to modify configuration while VPEX Auto-Configuration is running, or by cabling BPE's together in an unsupported pattern. To provide ideal conditions for VPEX Auto-Configuration, power down BPE's, unconfigure the Controlling Bridge and then power it down, check cabling matches a supported pattern, power up all BPE's, and then power-up the Controlling Bridge. Activate VPEX Auto-Configuration. Each tier of BPE's will take between 30 and 60 seconds to come up, and may require a few minutes extra per tier to upgrade firmware. Avoid moving cables or cycling power while the VPEX slots are coming up. Enable log target console via CLI, or invoke the equivalent on a management console to see events as they occur. This version of VPEX Auto-Configuration supports configuration of BPE's connected to both switches of an MLAG pair, but does not support multiple MLAG peers. Inter-system connections must be up for VPEX Auto-Configuration to coordinate configuration between the two MLAG peers to avoid additional delays and time-outs. This version supports only initial configuration, and does not support dynamic re-configuration.
