Until all configured extended slots have been discovered, VPEX Auto-Configuration cannot allocate new extended slot numbers.
This condition may occur normally after a save and a reboot and will resolve itself after a few minutes, or it may occur and persist after moving cables or using CLI commands to modify configuration while VPEX Auto-Configuration is running, or by cabling BPE's together in an unsupported pattern. Use "show log" to look for errors or warnings, and "show config vpex" to see configuration elements added by VPEX Auto-Configuration and other configuration agents. After checking that the BPE's are cabled in a supported pattern, modify the configuration manually, or unconfigure the switch to allow VPEX Auto-Configuration to capture the new configuration without conflicts.
