This is a rare condition which may be related to software. Check abnormal memory utilization of any process using 'show memory' and scale down configuration related to it. If it persists, a reboot may be required to correct the problem and contact technical support, providing outputs of 'show switch', 'show log', and 'debug ems show trace vsm ipml'.
