'UNAUTHENTICATED' - Provide unsecured connectivity, enabling the controlled port. 'AUTHENTICATED' - Provide unsecured connectivity but with authentication, enabling the controlled port. 'SECURE' - Provide secured connectivity, using Secure Association Keys(SAKs) provided by the MAC Security Key Agreement Entity(KaY) and enabling the controlled port when those keys are installed and in use.
