Received MKPDU was discarded because it contained an unexpected or incorrect parameter. The MKA protocol tolerates occasional loss of MKPDUs by not terminating a connection until MKA_LIFE_TIME (6 seconds) has elapsed between valid MKPDUs.
This condition is most often caused by a network peer re-initializing their MKA process, but can also be caused a peer sending a faulty MKPDU. If the condition persists and connectivity cannot be established or is lost, contact technical support with the following information: show macsec ports all show macsec ports <affected-port> detail show configuration macsec configure log filter DefaultFilter add events MACsec.PDU severity debug-data
