Command Parameters

802dot3af

Sets PD detection mode in 802.3af.

802dot3af_and_legacy

Sets PD detection mode in 802.3af and legacy.

802dot3at

Sets PD detection mode in 802.3at.

802dot3at_and_legacy

Sets PD detection mode in 802.3at and legacy.

poe poe-pd-detect-type 802dot3bt

Sets PD detection mode in 802dot3bt.

802dot3bt_type3

Sets PD detection mode in 802.3bt Type 3 (60W).

802dot3bt_type4

Sets PD detection mode in 802.3bt Type 4 (90W).

Default

The default is 802dot3at_and_legacy.

Usage Guidelines

The 802dot3bt_type3 parameter applies only to VSP4900-12MXU-12XE, 5520 Series, and 5420 Series.

The 802dot3bt_type4 parameter applies only to 5420 Series and 5520 Series.
