Syntax

• default ntp authentication-key <1-65534>

• default ntp authentication-key <1-65534> type

• no ntp authentication-key <1-65534>

• ntp authentication-key <1-65534> type <md5|sha1>

• ntp authentication-key <1-65534> WORD<0–20> type <md5|sha1>

• ntp authentication-key <1-65534> WORD<0–20>

Command Parameters

<1-65534>

Creates the key ID.

type <md5|sha1>

Specifies the type of authentication, whether MD5 or SHA1. The default is MD5 authentication.

WORD<0-20>

Specifies the secret key.

Default

The default configuration removes the secret key.
