Syntax

Command Parameters

<primary|primary-dynamic|secondary|secondary-dynamic|tertiary|tertiary-dynamic>WORD<0-46>

Configures the primary, secondary, or tertiary DNS server address. Enter the IP address in a.b.c.d format for IPv4 (string length 0-46). You can specify the IP address for only one server at a time; you cannot specify all three servers in one command.

Usage Guidelines

The dynamic DNS parameters only apply to the no ip name-server command. The primary-dynamic, secondary-dynamic, tertiary-dynamic parameters are not supported on VSP 8600 Series.
