Displays the IPv6 mroute interface information

Syntax

Command Parameters

gigabitEthernet {slot/port[/sub-port][-slot/port[/sub-port]][,...]}
Identifies the slot and port in one of the following formats: a single slot and port (slot/port), a range of slots and ports (slot/port-slot/port), or a series of slots and ports (slot/port,slot/port,slot/port). If your platform supports channelization and the port is channelized, you must also specify the sub-port in the format slot/port/sub-port.

The show ipv6 mroute interface command displays the following information:

Output field

Description

INTERFACE

Displays the slot and port number or VLAN ID for this entry.

TTL

Displays the datagram time-to-live (TTL) threshold for the interface. IPv6 multicast datagrams with a TTL less than this threshold are not forwarded out of the interface. The default value of 0 means that all multicast packets are forwarded out of the interface.

PROTOCOL

Displays the protocol as one of the following:

  • other(1): none of the following

  • local(2): manually configured

  • netmgmt(3): configured by a network management protocol

  • pimSparseMode(8): PIM-SMv2

  • igmpOnly(10)

  • pimSsmMode(11)

  • spb
