configure ospf vlan vlan-name bfd on | off

Description

Configures BFD for OSPFv2.

Syntax Description

bfd Bidirectional forwarding detection.
on Turn on BFD for OSPF interface.
off Turn off BFD for OSPF interface.

Default

Off.

Usage Guidelines

Use this command to turn BFD protection on or off on a specific OSPF interface.

Example

The following example configures BFD protection on for VLAN 1: 
configure ospf vlan1 bfd on

Platform Availability

This command is available on ExtremeSwitching 5320, 5420, 5520, and 5720 series switches.
