Usage Guidelines

This command is useful when you want to explicitly add a remote endpoint in addition to the ones learnt dynamically (OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) extensions). In flood mode explicit, you must create a remote-endpoint using this command, if the configurations on remote-endpoint (like monitor) need to be saved to the configuration. Otherwise, the configuration will be lost after the switch reboots.

Example

To create a remote endpoint:

create virtual-network vxlan remote-endpoint ipaddress 1.2.3.4
