Variable definitions
Use the data in the following table to use the ipv6 nd command.
|
Variable |
Value |
|---|---|
|
dad-ns <0–600> |
Specifies the number of neighbor solicitation messages for duplicate address detection (DAD). A value of 0 disables the DAD process on this interface. A value of 1 sends one advertisement without retransmissions. The default is 1. |
|
hop-limit <0–255> |
Specifies the current hop limit field sent in router advertisements from this interface. The value must be the current diameter of the Internet. A value of zero indicates that the advertisement does not specify a hop-limit value. The default is 64. |
