Command Parameters

custom

Activates the custom banner.

displaymotd

Activates or disables the message of the day.

motd WORD<1-1516>

Creates a message of the day to display with the logon banner. To provide a string with spaces, include the text in quotation marks ("").

static

Activates static banner.

WORD<1-80>

Adds lines of text to the CLI logon banner.

Default

The default configuration uses the default banner with no message of the day.
